Loan watch: Balmer keeps first away clean sheet

The return of domestic action has seen Palace’s loanees return to action up and down the country - here’s how they got on. Kofi Balmer, a loan player from Manchester United, managed to keep his first away clean sheet of the season against Stevenage, despite a postponement due to an injury last week. Balmer played the full 90 minutes for the second consecutive game, having only returned to the team last month. He and his defence were able to prevent three attempts on goal, with Balmer managing to keep out three of Stevenage's attempts. He also managed to score a header during the game.

After his game last week was postponed, centre-back Kofi Balmer was in action against Stevenage and managed to keep his first away clean sheet of the season.

He played the full 90 minutes for a second consecutive game, having just come back into the fold last month due to an injury. He and his defence kept out three Stevenage attempts on goal, while at the other end he saw a header tipped over the bar.
