MP says Tube driver's pro-Palestinian chant must be disciplined
A Tube driver appears to be chanting "free Palestine" over the train's public address system. London MP, Richard Scully, has called for the removal of a Tube driver who appeared to be chanting "free Palestine" over the train's public address system, which he believes poses a direct danger to Jewish people on the Tube. The incident occurred during a demonstration in central London, where an estimated 100,000 people gathered to show solidarity with Palestinian civilians. British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating the driver. Scully also criticised the police for not being tougher on Black Lives Matter protesters than pro-Palestine marchers, following a video showing protesters chanting "jihad" as a solution to the conflict.

A London MP has said a Tube driver who appeared to be chanting "free Palestine" over the train's public address system must be disciplined.
He added that the incident posed a direct danger to Jewish people on the Tube and should be taken seriously.
British Transport Police (BTP) say a driver has come forward and "officers are speaking with them this evening".
An unverified video circulating online appears to show a Central line driver saying "hope you all have a pleasant day today" and "keep all those people in your prayers".
The incident took place on Saturday as an estimated 100,000 people gathered in central London to show solidarity with Palestinian civilians.
Speaking to the BBC, Mr Scully, who is also the MP for Sutton and Cheam said the driver should "stick to the day job".
Mr Scully also said he believed the police had been tougher on Black Lives Matter protesters than pro-Palestine marchers after a video appeared to show protesters chanting that "jihad" was the solution to the conflict.
Speaking on Politics Live, he said: "I don't think it's acceptable for a public official to do that.
"It must have been a very threatening environment for some people or at least there is the risk that it was."
