Two arrests and man in hospital after double stabbing in south east London
A man has been found injured and another is in hospital after a double stabbing in Elephant and Castle. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon following a double stabbing in south east London. The incident occurred just after 5.50am on October 22. One of the men was found with a minor injury and another admitted himself to hospital with a stab wound. The arrests have been commended by the Metropolitan Police.

The incident happened in Elephant Road just after 5.50am yesterday (October 22).
Officers were called to the scene and found one man with a minor injury.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.
They have been taken into police custody.
A short time later, a man admitted himself to hospital where his condition was assessed as non life threatening.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Elephant Road, SE17, at 05.51hrs on Sunday, 22 October to reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended. One man was found at the scene with a minor injury.
“Two men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.
“They were taken into custody.
“A short time later, a man self-presented at hospital with a stab injury. His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.
